Marian wrote most of this herself many years ago.
Marian Tobin, formerly of Fitch Hill in Hyde Park, Vermont passed away on December 3, 2010 at her current home on Foss Street in Morrisville, Vermont. Marian was born on December 11, 1923 in New London, Connecticut to Isabelle and Donald Daboll, who pre-deceased her. She grew up in Essex Connecticut. She graduated from Middlesex Hospital School of Nursing in 1945 as a registered nurse. Marian worked at Middlesex Hospital for 36 years, retiring as supervisor of the Intravenous Therapy Department. She married William Dooley in Middletown, Connecticut in 1963. He died in 1973. She then married Harlie Tobin in 1978, who pre-deceased her in 1998.
She leaves numerous cousins, as well as step children, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She loved them all dearly. She was forever grateful to Harlie for bringing her to Vermont and giving her a family, something she never had.
Anyone wishing to remember Marian please give a contribution in her name to the North Country Animal League in Morrisville, Vermont in lieu of flowers. Per her request, a private family party will be held at a later date in honor of Marion.
