Wow, that would be nice having students go looking for extra credit. Maybe my honors geometry would but my midlevel kids would not and they are the ones that might need it. I do have my students go online to do projects and activities but at this time I use my portal page and webquest to do that. There are so many tools out there on the web I guess we have to try them all then find the one that works for us. I teach high school mathematics particularly geometry. A straight math blog might be a fun place for you to showcase new things that you are working on, or that other mathematicians are working on, as a kind of content aggregator of all things math.
